Associate at Bishop Koch Lawyers
Although Nicole initially had plans to get her degree in engineering, she soon realized it was not the career path for her. Shifting her focus, she graduated from Dalhousie University with a Political Science degree in 2017. From there, she set her sights on law school.
She was accepted to the University of Alberta’s law school where she was actively involved in activities outside the classroom. During her final year of study, she accepted a position as her Dean’s research assistant. She also led a fundraiser that raised $25,000 for WIN House Edmonton, a charity supporting women and children facing domestic abuse. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Alberta with her law degree.
Her journey to Bishop Koch began in 2019 when she was a summer student with the firm. She became a full-time articling student in 2020 and was called to the Bar in June 2021. Now, she is an associate with the Bishop Koch team. Nicole’s approach at Bishop Koch is all about building lasting relationships. In every instance, she is committed to creating an approachable and supportive environment for her clients and colleagues.
Raised in Brooks, Nicole is no stranger to southern Alberta and is happy to call Medicine Hat home. In order to better serve the surrounding area and her hometown, Nicole visits Brooks one day a week on Fridays to meet with clients. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active at spin class or out for a run, and going out to the movies.
